Your receipt message will show your points earned on a purchase as well as your point balance.

Almost, points are not earned on any dollars spent on additional sales tax, delivery charges, bottle deposits, rebates applied at the time of purchase, coupons, the dollar amount of available mail-in rebates at the time of purchase of any product or service, the dollar amount of a purchase of gift cards/certificates, the dollar amount of any gift card/certificate offer with purchase, or other excluded charges. Members do not earn points for the amount of any Reward redeemed or discounts applied to an eligible or qualifying product purchase.

We will notify you by email, so if you are not receiving emails from us, go to the Customer Service counters to update your membership with your email address.

The Reward will print out on your receipt and you will also receive an email.

There is no limit.

There is no minimum purchase required, but no “change back” or credit is given for a partially used Reward.

Rewards expire 30 days from the issue date, which is included in the Reward message on your receipt.

Only memberships with less than 500 points and no activity in five years will be considered dormant and will be closed.

They can use the same phone number at checkout if you want to accumulate points under a single account.

Customers may enroll by completing an enrollment form at the Barbados Cost-U-Less store.

Membership is open to any customer who is at least 16 years of age. No purchase is necessary to enroll in the Cost-U-Less Member Rewards Program. By enrolling, you accept and agree to these Terms and Conditions. The Member Rewards Program is not available in all areas and is void where prohibited by law. Membership is nontransferable and subject to present and future program rules. Employees of Barbados Cost-U-Less and its affiliates are eligible for membership, but may not participate in all benefits (see sweepstakes below). Membership becomes effective and these Terms and Conditions are deemed accepted when an individual enrols in the Cost-U-Less Barbados Member Rewards Program and your enrollment application has been accepted and your Member Rewards Program number has been issued.

At the time of enrollment, each Cost-U-Less Rewards member needs to provide at a minimum: Email Address, First Name, Last Name, Address, Phone Number and Birth Date. Cost-U-Less is not responsible for unauthorized use of a member’s identifier or redemption of a member’s reward/points in the event the member’s account has been compromised. By enrolling and providing your email address, you agree to our contacting you for the purposes of providing you with information and updates related to the Member Rewards Program and to Cost-U-Less Barbados. You may withdraw from membership at any time by providing written notice to the Cost-U-Less Barbados store.

Enrollment in the Member Rewards Program is free.

Members earn 1 point per every $1 spent on eligible qualifying items at the Barbados Cost-U-Less store when the member identifies themselves as a Cost-U-Less Member Rewards Program member at checkout by showing and scanning their Card or by providing their phone number to the cashier. Points are not earned on any portion less than $1, such as 0.50. Purchases made at other Cost-U-Less locations are not eligible to earn points. Point calculations are based upon dollars spent at checkout on eligible product purchases and embedded taxes (such as VAT). Points are not earned on any dollars spent on additional sales tax, delivery charges, bottle deposits, rebates applied at the time of purchase, coupons, the dollar amount of available mail-in rebates at the time of purchase of any product or service, the dollar amount of a purchase of gift cards/certificates, the dollar amount of any gift card/certificate offer with purchase, or other excluded charges. Members do not earn points for the amount of any Reward redeemed or discounts applied to an eligible or qualifying product purchase.

Purchases made without a member providing a Membership Number or phone number associated with their Membership account will not be eligible to earn points. The number of points earned is based on the final purchase amount of all eligible items and any embedded taxes included in price of those items in a single transaction, and not on individual items. If a member redeems a Cost-U-Less Reward coupon toward a purchase, and pays a portion of the retail price after the Reward redemption, the member will receive points on the remaining retail amount paid by the member, but not on the amount of the Reward redemption. Purchases made prior to enrollment in the program are not eligible to earn points.

At certain times, Cost-U-Less Barbados may offer promotions in which members may earn additional or “bonus points” in connection with the purchase of certain products, reaching certain spending amounts in one purchase, participating in specified events or taking other certain actions. During these promotions, a member will earn the bonus points as specified in the specific offer. Bonus point promotions are subject to the terms and conditions of the offer and may be offered at any time at the Cost-U-Less Barbados store at the company’s sole discretion. Bonus point promotions are valid for a limited time only and may be ended without notice.

No points are earned on taxes that are not embedded in the price of an item, Reward redemptions, or coupons or discounts taken at check out. Cost-U-Less Barbados may add other items to this list without notice.

Member Rewards Program members receive:

• $5 off reward (coupon) every time you reach 500 points
• Double rewards ($10 off) for every 500 points after you spend $3,500 each calendar year on your Rewards card

Points will be immediately posted to a Member’s account. If connectivity is disrupted, the points will be posted when the systems are back online. Points are automatically converted to a $5 Reward when the minimum threshold for the reward (500 points) is reached (see redeeming points below for details). Rewards cannot be redeemed on the same transaction where they were earned.

When members accumulate 500 points across one or more transactions, they will receive a $5 reward delivered on the receipt (“Reward”). Once a member totals $3,500 or more in purchases on their Member Rewards Program account, the next Reward is doubled to $10 for every 500 points accumulated until the end of that calendar year (December 31st). To redeem a Reward, a member must present the Reward Coupon with the accompanying barcode that is printed on the member’s Receipt during the transaction that triggered the Reward(s). Multiple Rewards may be used in a single transaction. There is no minimum purchase required to redeem the Reward, but no “change back” or credit is given for a partially used Reward (i.e., if the purchase total is less than the Reward value). Rewards are valid for 30 days after the time they are issued unless noted otherwise on the Reward. There is no limit to how many Rewards a member can earn in one year.

Rewards may not be used to purchase gift certificates or other ineligible products and services. Lost, stolen, or expired Rewards will not be replaced. Cost-U-Less Barbados is not responsible for program communications, including Rewards, which are lost, delayed or misdirected during transit, and assumes no responsibility for errors caused by incorrect member name or contact information. Members are responsible for notifying Cost-U-Less Barbados of any changes in member name or contact information.

Points and Rewards have no cash value, are issued for promotional purposes only, are non-transferable, cannot be bartered, exchanged or redeemed for cash, do not constitute property of the member, may not be combined among members and may not be transferred or assigned to any other person, entity, trust or estate.

Rewards expire 30 days from the issue date, which is included in the Rewards message. Unused points do not expire, but once they are converted to a Reward they are removed from a member’s point balance and do not count toward future Rewards. Member accounts with balances below 500 points are considered dormant after no activity for five years and will be cancelled.

Cost-U-Less Barbados reserves the right to deduct points from a member’s account if a member earned points from a purchase and that purchase is subject to a returned check fee for non-sufficient funds or the merchandise is later subject to a return, refund, or other credit. If a member uses a Reward to purchase an item and then returns the item or the member’s check is returned NSF, the Reward shall not be reissued for use again.

Weekly sweepstakes are a weekly drawing from all members who made a purchase during the previous week. No minimum purchase is required. Winner is drawn at random every Monday (or Tuesday if Monday is a Barbados, Canada or U.S. holiday).

How to Enter:

• Make a purchase at the Cost-U-Less Barbados store.
• Provide the cashier with your Cost-U-Less Member Rewards Program member number during the transaction.

Length of Promotion:

• Promotion is ongoing and can be cancelled at any time.

Terms and Conditions:

Your Cost-U-Less Rewards Card Number must be input at the time of the transaction to be eligible for an entry. The drawing is open to Cost-U-Less Member Rewards Program members. One entry per week per member. Employees of Cost-U-Less Barbados are not eligible to participate in the Sweepstakes. The $25 gift certificate may not be redeemed for cash and is non-transferrable and non-changeable. By accepting the gift certificate, a winner agrees to their name and/or photograph being used for publicity purposes in the print, radio and television media. Winners will be notified by email. If no email address is on file with Cost-U-Less Barbados, the member forfeits the drawing. If the email address on file is not valid, the member forfeits the drawing and another winner will be selected. Winners must collect their prize within three months after the gift certificate is issued.

If a winner fails to collect the gift certificate, it will lapse and no longer be available. Gift Certificates are valid for 12 months after issuance.

In all matters relating to this promotion, Cost-U-Less Barbados’s decisions are final.

Members may update their member information at the store Customer Service counter. The member information you provide is added to our customer database and allows us to customize our product offerings, improve your shopping experience and provide you with marketing information. Cost-U-Less may obtain change of address updates from other sources to correct customer files, but is not obligated to do so. You may receive periodic communications from us via mail, email and other channels. If you do not want to receive such communications, please update your member account profile at the store Customer Service counter. The information you provide is subject to Cost-U-Less Barbados’s Privacy Policy, which can be found at https://www.costuless.com/legal-privacy. By refusing to provide your email address, you may not receive ongoing notices of bonus opportunities, Sweepstakes winning information, and other such opportunities.

By joining the Cost-U-Less Barbados Member Rewards Program, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and affirm that you are at least 16 years old and are otherwise eligible to participate. Cost-U-Less Barbados may change or alter these Terms and Conditions or any rules, regulations, policies and procedures at any time. A member’s point balance, as reflected in the member’s account status records, shall be deemed correct unless otherwise proven incorrect. Cost-U-Less Barbados reserves the right to determine the amount of points in any member’s account based on our internal records. If an inconsistency emerges between a member’s records and our records, Cost-U-Less Barbados’s internal records will be final and binding in all respects.

The Cost-U-Less Member Rewards Program is intended for the sole use and benefit of the member. You agree to abide by Cost-U-Less Barbados’s Terms and Conditions, interpretation, application and enforcement of the policies and procedures set forth above. Abuse of the Cost-U-Less Barbados Member Rewards Program may result in our taking any action we deem appropriate, including without limitation, issuing a warning, suspending or terminating your access to and use of the program and canceling any unused Rewards. Abuse includes but is not limited to failure to follow program Terms and Conditions, policies and procedures, the sale or barter of Rewards, points or promotional offers, using multiple Cost-U-Less Barbados Rewards accounts in an effort to circumvent these Term and Conditions, and any misrepresentation of fact or other improper conduct as determined by Cost-U-Less Barbados in its sole judgment.

Cost-U-Less Barbados reserves the right to take appropriate legal action to recover damages, attorneys’ fees and court costs arising out of the enforcement of any of the Terms and Conditions. Cost-U-Less Barbados reserves the right to, at its sole discretion, cancel, alter, limit or modify program rules, regulations, points earning and redeeming structure, or institute or add blackout dates for earning points or using Rewards, limit the number of Rewards for use by any one individual on any one purchase or over a period of time or any other feature of the program at any time, without notice even though changes may affect the benefits the member may have already accumulated. In accumulating points, members may not rely on the continued availability of any Reward or reward level and they have no vested right with respect to points, Rewards or program benefits. The Cost-U-Less Barbados Member Rewards Program is offered entirely at the discretion of Cost-U-Less Barbados. We reserve the right to end this program at any time. Member Rewards Program points and Rewards may be subject to tax liability. Any tax liability is the responsibility of the member. This program is void where prohibited by law.
